In the realm of chemical synthesis, a child envisioned an adventurous journey manganese(I) catalysis full obstacles, like distant howls wolves echoing through night, with ultimate goal finding general route to discover linear, selective C−H dienylation method that leads electron-rich and electron-poor dienes, glycoconjugates, unnatural amino acids.
